Open graph meta generator — Guide
Generate open-graph and socials HTML meta tags for your website.
What it is and when to use it
Fill in a page title, description, URL and image, and get ready-to-paste Open Graph and Twitter meta tags. Social platforms read these tags to build share cards, so the difference between a bare link and an inviting preview is usually just this handful of meta tags in your page head.

Things that trip people up
- Platforms cache share cards, so you may need their debug tool to refresh the cache after a change
Questions people ask
- What is the minimum set of OG tags?
- og:title, og:description, og:image and og:url cover every major platform. The Twitter tags (twitter:card in particular) refine how the card looks on X.
- Why does my share card still show old text?
- Platforms cache card data aggressively. After changing tags you usually need the platform's debugger (e.g. the Facebook Sharing Debugger or X Card Validator) to force a re-scrape.
- What image size should og:image be?
- Around 1200×630 pixels is the widely supported sweet spot. Keep text large and centred — cards are often cropped or shown small on mobile.
